WATER. Water positively supports the moisture content of the skin and is used to dissolve vegetable ingredients. The quality of the water is regularly checked for physical and microbiological values.

GLYCERYL CAPRYLATE . Plant-based, multifunctional ingredient with softening and moisturizing properties. It is extracted from various vegetable oils, acts as a co-emulsifier in the product and so stabilizes the emulsion. The ingredient also has preservative properties for the product.

ALOE VERA. Miracle plant Aloe Vera. Has a cooling, calming, moisturizing effect, supports the skin's self-healing powers and its high antioxidant content protects against free radicals.

RADISH FERMENT. This raw material comes from the fermentation of radishes with the bacterium Leuconostoc. It has preservative properties.

CARRAGEEN MOSS (RED ALGA). Extract of red algae with film-forming, skin smoothing and moisturizing properties. Reduces measurably the transepidermal water loss (TEWL) and is therefore hydrating.

PAPAYA EXTRACT (FRUIT). Extract of the up to 8 meter high melon tree. Has a keratolytic toning effect and smoothes small wrinkles. The gentle enzymes from the papaya (papain) have excellent peeling properties: by splitting binding proteins (= proteolysis) and the resulting desquamation of the skin, the skin's appearance is clarified and pores appear refined.

ROSE MYRTLE. In traditional Chinese medicine, false myrtle is used for stomach upset and wound healing. The contained phenols and terpenoids have antioxidant and bacterial effects.

CARROT EXTRACT. Functional ingredient with antioxidant, refatting and soothing properties. Due to its high beta-carotene content, the carrot has a firming and cell-protecting effect and is often found in care products for demanding skin. Age prevention.

PEPPERMINT (ESSENTIAL OIL). The essential oil of peppermint comes from the steam distillation of freshly harvested, blooming branches. The main ingredient is menthol. Traditionally used as an inhalant for colds and coughs. Similar to field mint, epithelization can be promoted. In traditional folk medicine, the essential oil is recommended for headaches and cramped smooth muscles.

TEA TREE (ESSENTIAL OIL). Like lavender is valued in France as a panacea, tea tree oil is the all-rounder for the Australians. Originally the plant was mainly used to prepare tea, hence the name tea tree. The essential oil is appreciated for skin with a tendency to acne. The antibacterial effect has been confirmed in studies and it is also skin-caring.

BURDOCK ROOT. Plant from the family of the composite flowers with soothing, antioxidant and astringent effects. It is highly appreciated in cases of eczema.

COMFREY. Medicinal plant that contains allantoin and rosemary acid with analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. The contained mucilages moisturize the skin and ensure a well-cared for appearance.

HYALURONIC ACID. Hyaluronic acid is a compound of proteins and polysaccharides. Hyaluronic acid is a physiological component of the extracellular skeletal substance of the dermis connective tissue and forms the skin's moisture depot. Our hyaluronic acid is obtained biotechnologically by fermentation. Depending on the length of the chain, the hyaluronic acid penetrates the skin in different depths and accordingly fulfils the function of binding moisture in the different skin layers. Wrinkles can so be smoothed, the skin appears fresh and firm.

COCOYL PROLINE (SURFACTANT). A combination of coconut fatty acids and the amino acid proline. Has skin and hair caring properties. Mild surfactant with good foam formation.

PROPYLEN GLYCOL. This ingredient binds moisture, the skin appears more glowing and feels smooth.

PROPANEDIOL. Propanediol is extracted from corn sugar and has moisturizing, conditioning and preserving properties.

GYLCERINE (SUGAR ALCOHOL). Glycerin occurs in nature as a component of fats (triglycerides = glycerin with 3 fatty acids). It is a natural component of our Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF) of the skin and is present as part of the storage fat in plants. Glycerin binds water and can thus promote the skin's moisture. A well moisturized skin ages more slowly and is better protected against environmental influences.

SODIUM PCA. The salt of pyrrolidone carboxylic acid is extracted from sugar cane. As a natural part of the NMF (Natural Moisturizing Factor), it supports the skin's ability to bind moisture.

BEARD LICHEN. Symbiotic organism consisting of a fungus and green algae or cyanobacteria (blue-green algae); the algae supply the community with sugars produced by photosynthesis, while the fungus provides protection and moisture. Together they develop specialized ingredients, the usnic acids, which have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. The perfect example of synergistic systems, where the result is more than the sum of its parts.

GLYCOLIC ACID. Belongs to the alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA). The exfoliating effect is used in peelings by removing dead skin cells through a low pH value. This also stimulates the skin to produce cells and collagen and accelerates the skin renewal process.

GLUCOSE (SUGAR). Plant-based substance with water-binding properties. Helps to keep the skin beautiful and hydrated.

SODIUM PHYTATE. Sodium phytate is a natural raw material occurring in wheat and rice bran. It is a so-called chelator and binds metals which can influence the stability of the product.

MAGNESIUM PCA. The magnesium salt of pyrrolidone carboxylic acid is extracted from sugar cane. As a natural part of the NMF (Natural Moisturizing Factor), it supports the skin's ability to bind moisture.

ZINC PCA. PCA is part of the Natural Moisturizing Factor and prevents transepidermal water loss. The zinc can have a sebum-regulating effect and, according to studies, it has an antimicrobial effect, making the ingredient particularly suitable for tendentially acneic, impure skin. Also the body odor caused by sweat can be reduced.

MANGANESE PCA. The manganese salt of pyrrolidone carboxylic acid is extracted from sugar cane. As a natural part of the NMF (Natural Moisturizing Factor), it supports the skin's ability to bind moisture.

LIMONENE. Fragrance that must be declared (information for people with a fragrance allergy) and natural component of various essential oils. Limonene is a fresh, citrus-like scent that is contained in many plants such as rosemary, lavender, lemon grass, peppermint and eucalyptus. The molecule is also the main component of the peel oil of citrus fruits.
