JOJOBA OIL. Jojoba is a drought-resistant, evergreen shrub that is native to the deserts of Mexico and the southern regions of the USA. Chemically speaking, the raw material is a liquid wax. In contrast to oils, where fatty acids together with glycerin form the fatty components, waxes contain fatty acids combined with a fatty alcohol. These wax esters are very similar to human skin sebum and are therefore optimally mixed with it, creating a delicate, non-sealing lipid film. This keeps the skin moist without sealing it. A further effect is the increase of the skin's elasticity, as the jojoba oil spreads well within the cornea. The raw material is also ideal for impure skin. The jojoba oil is a true all-rounder.

LAUREL (ESSENTIAL OIL). The laurel has been admired since ancient times; its noble symbolism is also emphasized in the name of the species (nobilis). Due to its antiseptic and antibacterial ingredients, it is especially appreciated for the treatment of accneic skin.

VETIVER. Essential oil extracted from the dried roots of Vetiver, a tropical grass species. Because of its skin-caring effect, Vetiver is used for mature, wrinkled skin. On a psychological level, the essential oil has a balancing and grounding effect.

MYRRH (ESSENTIAL OIL). The myrrh tree grows in the dry regions of Africa and has been harvested for thousands of years. It is recommended in folk medicine especially in case of inflammation. Myrrh supports skin health and has a balancing effect on a psychological level.
