WATER. Water positively supports the moisture content of the skin and is used to dissolve vegetable ingredients. The quality of the water is regularly checked for physical and microbiological values.

DICAPRYLYL ETHER (EMOLLIENT). Clear, colorless and odorless, oily liquid. It is non-fatting and can be easily spread on the skin. It is also well absorbed by the skin and does not seem to be sticky.

GLYCERYL STEARATE CITRATE (EMULSIFIER). Emulsifier of vegetable origin (various oils). A consistency enhancer and auxiliary emulsifier for lotions and creams.

GYLCERINE (SUGAR ALCOHOL). Glycerin occurs in nature as a component of fats (triglycerides = glycerin with 3 fatty acids). It is a natural component of our Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF) of the skin and is present as part of the storage fat in plants. Glycerin binds water and can thus promote the skin's moisture. A well moisturized skin ages more slowly and is better protected against environmental influences.

ALOE VERA. Aloe Vera is a magic plant. It acts as a cooling, soothing, and moisturizing agent, supports the skin's self-healing, and its antioxidants protect against free radicals. Additionally, Aloe Vera contains anti-inflammatory substances like salicylates and polysaccharides, and it promotes wound healing and skin regeneration.

DECYLGLUCOSIDE (SURFACTANT). Detergent of plant origin with high foaming power. It is extremely mild to the skin and easily biodegradable.

CETEARYL ALCOHOL (FATTY ALCOHOL). Mixture of cetyl and stearyl alcohol, these are fatty alcohols, which are produced by the reduction of the corresponding fatty acids. A very common ingredient of cosmetic formulas, which gives the skin a pleasantly soft feeling and supports the formation of emulsions in the product. It also has a moisturizing effect and is supposed to smooth the skin.

ALMOND OIL. Almond oil is a highly digestible oil and is therefore recommended for all skin types. Due to the spectrum of fatty acids rich in oleic acid, almond oil is absorbed well and deeply and can thus increase the penetration of other functional ingredients.

AVOCADO OIL. Vegetable oil from the fruit flesh of the avocado with a high content of unsaponifiables, including vitamins A, E, D and lecithin. Has an exceptional ability to penetrate the skin and to nourish different skin layers. Avocado oil can promote cell regeneration and is frequently used for dry, barrier-damaged skin.

ZINC OXIDE POWDER. Zinc oxide powder has astringent, drying and slightly antiseptic properties. Its concealing effect is of particular interest for cosmetics.

PAPAYA EXTRACT (FRUIT). Extract of the up to 8 meter high melon tree. Has a keratolytic toning effect and smoothes small wrinkles. The gentle enzymes from the papaya (papain) have excellent peeling properties: by splitting binding proteins (= proteolysis) and the resulting desquamation of the skin, the skin's appearance is clarified and pores appear refined.
