Extra Sensitive Calming Serum⁰¹

WATER. Water positively supports the moisture content of the skin and is used to dissolve vegetable ingredients. The quality of the water is regularly checked for physical and microbiological values.

GYLCERINE (SUGAR ALCOHOL). Glycerin occurs in nature as a component of fats (triglycerides = glycerin with 3 fatty acids). It is a natural component of our Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF) of the skin and is present as part of the storage fat in plants. Glycerin binds water and can thus promote the skin's moisture. A well moisturized skin ages more slowly and is better protected against environmental influences.

PENTYLENE GLYCOL. Is an ingredient used in cosmetics as a humectant and preservative. It is a colorless, odorless, viscous liquid with antimicrobial properties.

RADISH FERMENT. This raw material is obtained by fermentation of radish with the bacterium Leuconostoc and has skin conditioning properties. It prevents or alleviates the symptoms of seborrhea and/or seborrheic dermatitis and/or works against dandruff. In addition, this ingredient has antimicrobial properties and inhibits the growth of bacteria and fungi.

ALOE VERA. Aloe Vera is a magic plant. It acts as a cooling, soothing, and moisturizing agent, supports the skin's self-healing, and its antioxidants protect against free radicals. Additionally, Aloe Vera contains anti-inflammatory substances like salicylates and polysaccharides, and it promotes wound healing and skin regeneration.

CARRAGEEN MOSS (RED ALGA). Extract of red algae with film-forming, skin smoothing and moisturizing properties. Reduces measurably the transepidermal water loss (TEWL) and is therefore hydrating.

(BIOTECHNOLOGICAL) HYALURONIC ACID. Biotechnologically derived hyaluronic acid is a natural polysaccharide found in the extracellular matrix of the skin, where it serves as a moisture reservoir. Our hyaluronic acid is obtained through fermentation. Its effects vary depending on the molecular weight: high molecular weight hyaluronic acid hydrates the skin's surface, while medium and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid penetrate the upper layers of the epidermis to bind moisture and improve skin structure. This helps to smooth wrinkles and promote a fresh, firm, and radiant complexion.

ALLANTOIN. Allantoin is a soothing ingredient that can be found naturally in the roots and leaves of the comfrey plant. It is not only soothing and calming but also skin-softening and protecting, and can promote wound healing.

CAPER. This extract of the caper fruit has a soothing effect and helps to inhibit harmful effects on the skin caused by external factors. Also known for its anti-inflammatory and calming properties.

BILBERRY. The blueberry is native to the temperate and Nordic zones of Eurasia. Its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and astringent properties are particularly appreciated for sensitive skin.

OLIVE (LEAVES). Extract from the leaves of the olive tree. Keeps the skin in good condition.

FRAGRANCE NATURAL ORIGIN. Not all cosmetic ingredients have a pleasant scent by nature, even if they are wonderful for the skin in their function. For this reason, we use scents of natural origin to create a great experience for your nose as well.

PRICKLY PEAR (FRUIT). Extract from the fruit of the prickly pear. The prickly pear is a plant that grows in dry and semi-dry areas, particularly in Mexico, North Africa and the Mediterranean region, and has been used for centuries as a traditional remedy to treat skin conditions. The fruit extract is a moisturizing ingredient that deeply hydrates the skin and strengthens the skin barrier. It has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that help fight free radicals, reduce redness and soothe skin irritation. In addition, the extract supports skin regeneration and can help smooth out fine lines and wrinkles, leaving skin looking fresher and firmer.

COMFREY. Medicinal plant that contains allantoin and rosemary acid with analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. The contained mucilages moisturize the skin and ensure a well-cared for appearance.

OLIVE (LEAVES). Extract from the leaves of the olive tree. Keeps the skin in good condition.

MADONNA LILY. This extract from the bulb of the Madonna Lily contains saponins and polysaccharides that soothe and protect the skin. At the same time, it provides the skin with an extra dose of moisture, which is the basis for healthy skin.

MARSH MALLOW. Root extract of the marsh mallow, a velvety soft medicinal plant from the mallow family, with cleansing, calming, soothing, protective, and moisturizing properties.

BLUE CHAMOMILE. Chamomile is one of the most popular medicinal plants and is characterized by its nourishing and soothing properties. The essential oil of real chamomile is rich in bisabolol (about 50%), a powerful anti-inflammatory and calming agent. The contained chamazulene causes the blue coloration of the precious essential oil.

EDELWEISS. In the Alps, one of the most extraordinary and hard to find plants is Edelweiss. In order to withstand the variable and sometimes extreme environmental conditions of these high altitudes, Edelweiss produces compounds that we can use in cosmetics to strengthen, protect and make sensitive skin more resilient.

GLYCERYL CAPRYLATE . Plant-based, multifunctional ingredient with softening and moisturizing properties. It is extracted from various vegetable oils, acts as a co-emulsifier in the product and so stabilizes the emulsion. The ingredient also has preservative properties for the product.

DISODIUM COCOYL GLUTAMATE (SURFACTANT). Herbal, mild washing-active substance from fatty acids of coconut fat and amino acids obtained from fermented sugar. Contributes to a uniform distribution during application.

SODIUM COCOYL GLUTAMATE (SURFACTANT). Sodium cocoyl glutamate is a mild surfactant of natural origin with good foaming properties, skin and hair are gently washed.

MALTODEXTRIN. Carbohydrate from corn, rice or potato starch, which helps to keep the skin mat, stabilize emulsions and keep the product together.

GLUCOSE (SUGAR). Plant-based substance with water-binding properties. Helps to keep the skin beautiful and hydrated.

SODIUM PHYTATE. Sodium phytate is a natural raw material occurring in wheat and rice bran. It is a so-called chelator and binds metals which can influence the stability of the product.

LINALOOL. Fragrance that must be declared (information for people with a fragrance allergy) and natural component of various essential oils. The fragrance is flowery-fresh and occurs in many spice plants, such as nutmeg, thyme and many more.

ETHANOL. Ethanol = ethyl alcohol, excellent solvent with cleansing and astringent effect. Improves the penetration of the skin, but can have a dehydrating effect in larger quantities.

GERANIOL. Fragrance that must be declared (information for people with a fragrance allergy) and natural component of various essential oils. Geraniol smells gently of rose and is present in roses, lemon and many other essential oils.

FARNESOL. Fragrance that must be declared (information for people with a fragrance allergy) and natural component of various essential oils. Farnesol occurs, among others, in anise, rose and jasmine oil and inhibits the development of excessive body odor through its fresh scent and deodorizing effect.

BENZYL BENZOATE. Fragrance that must be declared (information for people with a fragrance allergy) and natural component of various essential oils. Benzoic acid occurs naturally in Styrax as well as in foods such as cranberries, raspberries, plums and others. Benzoic acid has a faint sweet balsamic smell scent and was once known as an ointment for various skin problems such as eczema, wounds, acne, burns, scars, and frostbite.

CITRAL. Fragrance that must be declared (information for people with a fragrance allergy) and natural component of various essential oils. Smells like lemon and occurs in citrus fruits and basil.

BENZYL SALICYLATE. Fragrance that must be declared (information for people with a fragrance allergy) and natural component of various essential oils. Occurs among other things in the garden carnation, smells sweetish and slightly balsamic.

CITRONELLOL. Fragrance that must be declared (information for people with a fragrance allergy) and natural component of various essential oils. It has a flowery scent and occurs, among others, in the essential oils of rose and lemongrass.

BENZYL ALCOHOL. Benzyl alcohol is an ingredient used in cosmetics as a preservative to extend their shelf life. It naturally occurs in fruits and teas but can also be synthetically produced. Regardless of its origin, in small amounts (up to 1%), benzyl alcohol is a pleasant and mild preservative. To ensure a broad-spectrum effect, it must be combined with other preservatives, such as potassium sorbate.

EUGENOL. Fragrance that must be declared (information for people with a fragrance allergy) and natural component of various essential oils. It smells of cloves and is found, among others, in basil, clove or cinnamon oil.

ISOEUGENOL. Fragrance that must be declared (information for people with a fragrance allergy) and natural component of various essential oils. Isoeugenol has a flowery-spicy scent and occurs, among others, in the essential oils ylang ylang, clove and dill.

CINNAMAL. Fragrance that must be declared (information for people with a fragrance allergy) and natural component of various essential oils. Cinnamal smells of cinnamon and occurs among others in cinnamon bark and cassia.

CINNAMYL ALCOHOL. Fragrance that must be declared (information for people with a fragrance allergy) and natural component of various essential oils. Reminds of the scent of hyacinth.
