Our founder, Erb. Dipl. Dr. Joseph Franz, discovered his passion for the world of plants at a young age. His deep curiosity and extensive knowledge of plant-based active ingredients laid the foundation for a pioneering approach to modern skincare. More than 40 years of experience and development continue to shape our formulations and treatments to this day.

In 2026, we celebrate 40 years of TEAM DR JOSEPH: four decades dedicated to skin health and a consistent pioneering spirit. What began in 1986 with a clear vision has grown into an internationally respected brand and has long since become much more than a family business.

Our products are developed, formulated and manufactured with great care by our team of skin experts, herbalists and cosmetic formulators in our in-house production and research laboratory in Italy.
In doing so, we rely on carefully selected ingredients, including organically grown plants and active ingredients with scientifically studied efficacy.
