Sensitive Mineral Sunscreen SPF30 ⁰⁷

WATER. Water positively supports the moisture content of the skin and is used to dissolve vegetable ingredients. The quality of the water is regularly checked for physical and microbiological values.

ZINC OXIDE. Mineral dye made of zinc ore with UV-reflecting and protective properties. Due to its astringent and soothing effect, zinc oxide is also used as a powder additive, especially for tendentially impure skin.

COCO-CAPRYLATE (EMOLLIENT). A fast-spreading, refatting emollient of natural origin that leaves the skin feeling silky smooth and soft.

C15-19 ALKANE (EMOLLIENT). This emmolient, which is obtained from oil-containing plants, contains carbon chains (=alkane) with a length of 15-19 atoms. It is a natural alternative to silicones, it is quickly absorbed and leaves a smooth skin feeling.

DAMASK ROSE (HYDROSOL). Hydrolates are produced by steam distillation and contain a part of the essential oils. The rose water is a true all-rounder and is especially appreciated for its calming effect. Sensitive skin is gently enveloped, reddenings and irritations can be soothed.

POLYGLYCERYL-4 OLIVATE/POLYRICINOLEATE (EMULSIFIER). Ester derived from olive oil and polyglycerin. It is a yellow, oily substance with a mild odor. It acts as a surfactant and emulsifier in cosmetic products.

GYLCERINE (SUGAR ALCOHOL). Glycerin occurs in nature as a component of fats (triglycerides = glycerin with 3 fatty acids). It is a natural component of our Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF) of the skin and is present as part of the storage fat in plants. Glycerin binds water and can thus promote the skin's moisture. A well moisturized skin ages more slowly and is better protected against environmental influences.

JOJOBA OIL. Jojoba is a drought-resistant, evergreen shrub that is native to the deserts of Mexico and the southern regions of the USA. Chemically speaking, the raw material is a liquid wax. In contrast to oils, where fatty acids together with glycerin form the fatty components, waxes contain fatty acids combined with a fatty alcohol. These wax esters are very similar to human skin sebum and are therefore optimally mixed with it, creating a delicate, non-sealing lipid film. This keeps the skin moist without sealing it. A further effect is the increase of the skin's elasticity, as the jojoba oil spreads well within the cornea. The raw material is also ideal for impure skin. The jojoba oil is a true all-rounder.

SUNFLOWER SEED WAX. The wax protects the seeds from the external environmental conditions. In the product, the wax has a consistency-giving function; applied to the skin, the wax protects and supports the skin's barrier function.

POLYGLYCERYL-3 POLYRICINOLEATE (EMULSIFIER). Vegetable emulsifier produced from glycerin and ricinoleic acid.

ZINC STEARATE. Zinc stearate is a white, odorless powder made from zinc salt and stearic acid. It is a commonly used ingredient in cosmetics. Zinc stearate absorbs excess sebum and gives the skin a matte appearance. Additionally, it acts as a lubricant and emollient, helping to stabilize emulsions and maintain the consistency of products.

MEDIUM-CHAIN TRIGLYCERIDES. Vegetable neutral oil from coconut oil and glycerine with refatting, moisturizing and smoothing properties. Clear, odorless and non-greasy.

SUNFLOWER OIL. Oil from the sunflower seeds, its name comes from its ability to turn its flower head towards the sun. Due to its high content of linoleic acid, it is a light, non-sticky and caring oil. The contained vitamin E has an antioxidant effect.

FIG EXTRACT. The fig tree is one of the oldest cultivated plants and has also found its way into the mythology of Buddhism, Islam and Christianity. The pectins and sugars found in the fruit reduce the skin's loss of moisture. The malic acid contained in the fruit supports the development of keratin, the skin appears elastic and flexible.

SUMMER LILAC. Extract of the summer lilac (buddleja), which serves as a photoprotector and can protect the skin from UV damage. Acts as a free radical scavenger and has anti-inflammatory properties.

MAGNESIUM SULFATE. Magnesium sulfate is of mineral origin and has a stabilizing effect, which helps to achieve an optimal consistency of the emulsion.

MICA. Mica is a naturally occurring mineral used in cosmetics as a colorant and shimmering agent. It is extracted from mica and is known for its shimmering, reflective effect on the skin.

LECULINIC ACID. Levulinic acid from the sugar cane and vegetable oils has an antimicrobial effect and inhibits the growth of bacteria in the product.

ISOSTEARIC ACID (SURFACTANT). Isostearic acid is a fatty acid used in various cosmetic products. It is a clear, yellow liquid with a mild odor. It is used as a surfactant and cleansing agent.

GLYCERYL CAPRYLATE . Plant-based, multifunctional ingredient with softening and moisturizing properties. It is extracted from various vegetable oils, acts as a co-emulsifier in the product and so stabilizes the emulsion. The ingredient also has preservative properties for the product.

TITANIUM DIOXIDE. Titanium dioxide is a white, insoluble, highly covering pigment that occurs in various rocks. This mineral UV filter reflects and absorbs the radiation and so prevents its penetration into deeper skin layers and consequently the destruction of skin structures. Titanium dioxide is also used in decorative cosmetics to produce pigments.

PROPANEDIOL. Propanediol is extracted from corn sugar and has moisturizing, conditioning and preserving properties.

ANISIC ACID. Skin-friendly organic acid that is effective against fungi. Helps to protect the product from microbial spoilage.

SODIUM LEVULINATE. Levulinic acid from sugar cane and vegetable oils has an antimicrobial effect and blocks the growth of bacteria in the product.

CI 77499 (Iron Oxides). Is a black colorant used in the cosmetic industry to give products a black color. It is an inorganic colorant derived from iron oxide.

TOCOPHEROL. Vitamin E is the most important fat-soluble antioxidant and is found in many plant-based oils as a protection against oxidation. By intercepting the harmful free radicals, tocopherol prevents the oxidation of the lipids in the product as well as those of the skin's membrane lipids. Wound healing can be positively supported and the skin appears smooth and healthy.

SODIUM PHYTATE. Sodium phytate is a natural raw material occurring in wheat and rice bran. It is a so-called chelator and binds metals which can influence the stability of the product.

GUGGUL / INDIAN MYRRH (ESSENTIAL OIL). Extract from Indian myrrh, which is known for its healing, anti-inflammatory, rejuvenating and strengthening effects. Stimulates the proliferation of fibroblasts and is used as prevention against wrinkles, as well as for irritated skin and in anti-cellulite products.

PHENETHYL ALOHOL. Pleasant rose-like fragrance, which can be found in various essential oils like rose, neroli or geranium.

XANTHAN GUM. One of the most commonly used thickeners and emulsion stabilizers. Completely natural ingredient produced by fermentation.
